The Jacobs Family.

Steve grew up in Colorado USA where he developed a great appreciation for nature and the bounty it could produce. Steve then moved to California which proved to be the springboard for him to develop his career in business development. It was in Singapore where his love of wine began.

Through the years Steve traveled on business to many wine producing countries where he was able to expand his knowledge of wine and to advance the training of his palette. Whilst living in Indonesia he traveled to Australia in 1991 where he fell in love with Margaret River and her wines. Deciding then and there he had to find some land to begin his involvement in the Margaret River wine business.

Guy Gallienne, winemaker.

Born in the Loire Valley, France, Guy and Chantal came to Australia in 1976 with their two children Karl and Johanne.

Working their way around Australia, they visited numerous wine regions and whilst in South Australia, Guy took up studies at the renowned Roseworthy College, developing and even greater passion and love for wine.

Visiting world wide regions such as Russia, China, Spain, Italy and the regions of France, gave them a broard knowledge on different techniques and methods.

Karl Gallienne.

Guy is the General Manager, Vigneron and head of Winemaking. Chantal is invaluable in the vineyard also assisting with the book keeping and general administration.

Karl assisted in the establishment and development of the vineyard. This led to getting the Cellar Door Tasting and Sales facility up and running. Following this Karl worked the Cellar Door and looked after the company's logistics, sales and marketing.
